How will I benefit from the A&P place?
Students have access to resources developed specifically for the Web that offer study and test preparation help. These diverse resources are created by a team of educators to help student master core course material and understand the science behind research developments in the news. Interactive learning activities and on-line quizzes provide immediate feedback to indicate where further study is needed. Reliable and constantly updated web and print resources are available that will help with student investigations and research.

Secondary educators have access to the same resources students do as well as an extensive Syllabus Manager, which allows instructors to create an online syllabus complete with weekly assignments, projects, & test dates that students would be able to access from our site. Our suggested Lecture Outlines can help you find different ways to present topics in your courses. These lecture outlines also contain page references correlated to the fifth edition of Human Anatomy & Physiology & the third edition of Human Anatomy.

Is this site meant to replace a textbook?
No. A textbook is a valuable, comprehensive resource for students. In fact, many of our contributors are also textbook authors. At The A&P Place we've created learning activities that are designed to take advantage of the web's interactivity and that act as a valuable supplement to the teaching and learning of core concepts. The site also offers constantly updated information on current research news and events, which a textbook can't offer. With The A&P Place educators and students will discover that they save time finding relevant resources on the web.
