  13. Does it matter if I am using a PC or a Macintosh?

  14. No. The Campbell Biology CD-ROM can be used from any computer that has browser software such as Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer (some media resources require a live internet connection and Macintosh users should not use Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher to access the CD-ROM). The Campbell Biology Website can be used from any computer with a connection to the internet and browser software. We recommend a 56K modem connection or better.
